Performance Inspired by Family History Migrating to Chicago Presented at the Met Museum with The Catalyst Quartet.

In 2021, Anthony was presented in recital at the Met Museum with The Catalyst Quartet. The program was conceived of by Anthony and was inspired by Anthony's family’s twentieth-century migration from the Deep South to Chicago.

The concert will be up in perpetuity and includes the Coleridge-Taylor Quintet in F sharp minor found on Uncovered, as well as the world premiere of a new work by Richard Danielpour. The program of this recital, which will stay up in perpetuity, is dedicated to “all the artists and educators in the world. You are necessary, you are irreplaceable, you are valuable.” The program expresses a wish to ”live in a world where there is no more separation, segregation, or injustice and where art and music unite us.”

Anthony also joined the Catalyst Quartet on Coleridge-Taylor: Quintet in F sharp minor on the Catalyst album UNCOVERED Volume 1 on Azica Records. Read his interview with brin solomon in Van Magazine here.
